He Is The Dog For Me
I have been missing by dog showing buddies so I peeled myself out of bed at 5:30 this morning to ride along to the dog show at the Puyallup fairgrounds. They would be showing in obedience, mom in one class and daughter in another.
You don't know how happy I was to see this...
If you have never been to a dog show it is a fun outing for all the family. Between classes I decided to take a look around. There is a breed of dog for everyone's taste.
There are big dogs,
and really big dogs.
Medium dogs,
and small dogs.
Fluffy dogs,
and smooth.
There are faces only a mother could love.
And some that prefer to keep their face hidden.
There are trick dogs with snoods,
and dogs with bibs.
Tough dogs,
and not so tough.
Dogs having a bad hair day,
and dogs having a good one.
So no matter what you fancy there is a dog for you.....or one that looks like you.
After a long day of showing, shopping, and taking pictures, my friends and I got up to leave when a nice lady walked up to me with the sweetest smile on her face.
She said, "You don't know me but......"
I waited.
"Did you know that there is a huge split in the back of your pants and we can see your underwear?"
It took a minute for it to register.
I reached around and sure enough there was a huge 10 inch split in the back of my jeans and indeed my underwear was hanging out.
"Thank goodness I'm wearing underwear." I replied.

Oh, Wendy, I'm laughing with you, not at you! That must've been quite disconcerting!
laughing head on desk.
Oh goodness, I did not see THAT coming!
'Semper ubi, Sub ubi.'
'Always wear underwear.'
*Laughing out loud*
Oh what a feeling that is! We`ve all been there at times. Great pictures, thanks for sharing them!
Perfect way to start the week, with a a good laugh!!!!!It has happened to the best of us! It does help to remember the small blessings....like underwear!
OMG! This is my first visit to your blog, and this story made my day! All dogs are beautiful. After all, God spelled backwards is dog, and they love so unconditionally. Have a great day!

At our shows you can only buy french fries and greasy, inedible burgers. I want scones in this neck of the woods!!!
BTW, I was at Fenway Park - near home plate, so the cameras were on our section - and the same thing happened to me. I spent the second inning at the souvenir shop buying sweat pants.
Oh my goodness! I needed that. It is one of those things I know I shouldn't laugh at, but by golly it was funny!!
I love seeing the all the dog's pictures and saw one that looked a lot like my BoDog and Jill.
Have a great day.

At least there was no toilet paper hanging off your shoe too.
Ahahahahhah! Okay, Im not laughing at you. Well, I mean at first I wasnt. At first I was laughing at the sweet little dog with the snood on his head. And then I had to scroll back up and ooohhh and ahhhh over the gorgeous american eskimo. So fluffy and white. But even before that, I had to drool over the hot scones sign.(that hopefully I get to see in real life very soon like)But, okay. Then, if Im honest, which I always am....I had to laugh a minute when you said that your underwear were showing....did you have on your prettiest ones?
Oh Holy Cow!
Dog Show People! They let you go the whole day without saying anything! Even after you took such great photos of their dogs!
Your goat show friends would have said something straight off and offered you duct tape or something to fix it.
I too hope that you had on your fanciest pair or were they "boxers"? Sorry bad dog humor!
*ROFL* Oh my... I guess that's a reminder for me to ALWAYS wear underwear, even if I don't want to... *giggle*..
Thanks for sharing the wonderful pictures! I love dog shows!
OMG - and where is the picture of that? I have so been there! And I've been caught with my skirt hitched up in my underwear, and with tp on my shoe, and with panty hose slithering down, and.....
The dogs are beautiful!

oh...oh...(gasp)...dying over here.
Wendy....
I had no idea where this story was going, but I was enjoying it thoroughly...loving each and every picture of each and every beautiful (in its own way) dog...thinking it was going to end on your little chihuahua pup being "the dog for you". Could I have been any more wrong???
Oh my...... and, um, which ones did you have on?
I had no idea that was coming. Love your blog!
Wouldn't you know frugalmom and farmgirl would ask about about my panties. Luckily not a thong is all I have to say.
Shit Happens!
