Poor little Deuce is odd man out. Alice will not take care of him. Luckily she tolerates him and does nothing more than walk away and glare when he tries to nurse. So he can stay with his brothers, the chosen ones.
The animals world can be so seemingly cruel sometimes. I don't understand why this happens but I'm sure there is a reason. Will you feed him? Of course you will... I'm sure he's not going to starve. He's so beautiful!
I never have understood the whole rejection thing. But at least she took the two so you only have one bottle baby. And I'm glad she tolerates his presence. He'll be happier in there than on his own.
Poor Deuce. At least he can be out with the others. My poor rejected one is still in my kitchen. It's not fun trying to get them back into the herd after an absence.
sometimes mama's reject them due to their teeth, have you checked to see if they are any sharper or rougher than the others? Good luck. Bottle babies are fun but very, very time consuming. Not so bad if you can leave them outside in a pen with mama vs. in the house in the bathtub wanting to be fed at 3:00 a.m.

Oy. How rude! And he has those lovely facial stripes too. Makes one wonder why, doesn't it?

Oh, this makes me so sad..poor little Deuce.
Sure glad he's got you to love him up.
What a beautiful little goat. Thank you for the lovely pictures!
Has he taken to bottle easily enough?
Aww, poor Deuce. Good thing they invented baby bottles!
But he's so cute, hard to believe a mother can't love him. Poor little bugger.
