Oh wow, that is a fabulous picture! Im in NJ and there is a lot of birdwatching in Cape May but I've never ever seen anything like that guy!Amazing!

Wonderful picture. I had a pair of eagles hanging around my place this spring, and they are absolutely awe inspiring.

Niiiice! Much more interesting than the usual 'eagle on a limb' photo one normally gets.
Can we have a bit more detail? How close were you? Did you have trouble setting up teh shot? Was the framing deliberate or serendipity?
