Goose of a Different Color
On my way home from work today I glanced at the Canadian geese in my neighbor's pasture and had to do a double take when I saw a goose of a different color. I ran home and got my camera hoping they would still be there when I came back.
I looked at this goose for a long time trying to decide if it was a domestic cross or an a mutant Canadian goose. Our own white buffalo.
I still don't know for all that looking.

No idea, but I think with mutant Canadian geese you might just be on the right track :@

Maybe a snow goose? Looks like it could be, but I'm reading this on my phone and it is a little difficult to see.
It looks a lot like the Canada/Embden crosses that my neighbor has.
Weird. It does kind of look like a Snow Goose and have seen them hang out with Canadian Geese before. Too bad you didn't see it fly to see if it has black tips on the undersides of the wings. Maybe it will still be there today! Very exciting!
Found your blog through CAF. :)Love your goats!
I'm going to agree with Teresa on this; looks like a Canada/Embden cross to me.
Hi. I don't think it's a snow goose and it looks too large to be a Canada goose. It sure is gorgeous though, whatever it is!
I'm from australia and have 4 geese that look like your neighbours white one - common look here!
Tried copying a photo of my geese below but dont know if it worked - new to blogs and how to do things! I also have a pig who is losing all his hair and has very dry flakey skin - loves it when i scratch him really hard!

It's not a snow goose. Those look like regular Canadian geese, but white.
