Do the goats build up a pretty big winter coat?
It's supposed to be much nicer this weekend...here's to a lot of rolling around in the sun like your cat! :-)
The goats get an undercoat that comes out about now. Tufts and tufts of undercoat that I comb out with my dog shedding rake. Filbert and Cora Belle love to be brushed, the others not so much.

I have 5 dogs and 3 cats. I love my new tool called a FURMINATOR. Even the cats love being brushed with this thing. It gets right down to the undercoat and leaves them sleek and shiny. A bit pricey but worth it for that many critters.
Elizabeth, I will have to look into that. I just got back from de-furring the goats...hair everywhere.
Sunny has lost so much hair he has taken on a new color!
I resemble that remark.
Now, that looks like my floors, with 3 dogs and 3 cats it's awful. I'll have to look up the Furminator thingy myself, I spend a lot of time swiftering and damp moping to keep up.
I'm not sure the horses would like that much!
