A Home Of Her Own

The last couple of times I've been to Drive Thru Feed they have had a cute little playhouse called the Bargain Barn. Last week when I drove up the barn was empty. All the bargains were gone. I told Jerry that I wanted the Bargain Barn. He said bake him a pie and I could have it. I told him I'd make him the best brownies ever and he agreed.
I'm always on the lookout for cute little buildings the goats can play in....and we don't have to build. I can picture baby goats flying through the windows.

But Lexi had other ideas....

When the goats first saw it they were very excited. They rushed over and shoved their way in.

They tasted the wood....

Lexi waited patiently for everyone else to lose interest...which they did.

And then claimed it for her own.

She's been waiting a long time for this.

Her only request was that I paint the trim green.

That is very cute, Wendy! I'm sure it looks great on your farm in the woods.

What a deal. Goats love to have new things. What color green on the trim? I vote for "leaf green".

Yes, she will get green trim since that happens to be my favorite as well.
The brownies were heaven! I took them out of the oven just a minute before they were done. They were loaded with chocolate chips and walnuts. They are still talking about them.

Funny, I put the word verification back on because I've been getting some annoying spam and the first one I see is...
butryin
but I say it...Butt right in
Is there someone making those up or is it random?

That has got to be the cutest thing I have ever seen! What a find and she looks so at home in her little goathouse.

I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving...I'll send you some mud! Kim

Goatgirl, you and Chris must think along the same thought lines, now and then. She had Dave drag home an old...but very charming...chicken coop, that someone was going to throw away. Dave restored it and is now our shelter...he even put a window box on it but we ate all the flowers, in it! :) Your new little house is so adorable and guess what color they painted the trim on our chicken...I mean goat coop?
