Got Milk? We Don't.

Cora Belle is on vacation for a few months. I dried her up for our trip and now we are missing her candy milk. No milk means no cheese. I have been living on herb chevre.
Looking forward to next spring when not only Cora Belle freshens but so does her daughter Wedding Belles...and Alice....and Boots...and Buttons.
Milk and cheese galore.

Can't wait to see what they all have this time. Who are they all bred to?

We're milkless right now too. I froze several gallons though to get us through the dry time. It's not quite like fresh milk, but it sure beats plastic store milk! Kidding starts again around here on December 16th ... so fresh milk is coming really soon!

Ironically, the only goat I'm milking right now is Minnie who hasn't had a kid in two and a half years!

Oh the joys of dairy goats. Milk and cheese. I would be in heaven.
I get frozen goat milk from a friend. Love it.

With your milk supply next year will come some of the most beautiful baby goats in the country...I'm still jealous.
