Meet Bliss

Boots had her baby today. I knew she would probably have only one and I thought it would probably be a buck even though I ordered a blue eyed doe with wattles I just didn't expect it today. So like her mother, Boots showed no signs of labor but when I went down to check on the goats this afternoon this little cutie, a doeling with blue eyes and wattles, was there......

Born on our 30th anniversary I give you Minter Bay Wedded Bliss. Although anyone that has been married for 30 years knows it can be anything but bliss.

Are you seeing a pattern?

Congrats, she is so cute, we had lamb once with black legs, grey body, she was reared with the goat kids and stayed with the dairy herd her entire life. To the point were she would even hop up on the milking stand. Her name was... Licorice Legs.

Happy Anniversary!

Oh! The perfect present! The other day my husband told me he loved me. I asked, "why" and he said, "because you got us goats." I think we'll reach our 30th anniversary, too :)

Congratulations on both the anniversary and the new doeling!

Maybe the real secret to success is black stockings!
