Hmmmm...did you spend the afternoon chasing after a very pretty lop-eared bunny? :-)

He doesn't look very happy there at the end. Think you better give him a Peanut. :)

Love the story-in-pics, especially the one of his back, and then the one of him looking back around at you.

Too cute! I have a metal dog fence that I set up in the yard. Sometimes I let mine run free but I usually regret it because she is hard to catch.

How much do you know about bunnies? Especially temperature outside. I know we have short weather during the day but it does get cold at night. I've heard 30 but then I've also heard it doesn't matter. Did I ever give you my email so I don't take up your whole comment section?

farmgirl, No I didn't chase him, I just snuck up behind him and grabbed him. He is pretty tame now and very pretty...I think.

I gave him an apple, Marigold. He has about 3 different cages. His small cage that he uses when the weather is bad, a big long cage that he is in when the weather is good and a dog kennel that can be moved around for grazing....spoiled bunny.

i need orange, Thank you, I think the picture of him looking back at me is the best photo that I have taken ever. I have it as my background on my computer at home and at school.

mindy, I don't mind you taking up a lot of space on my comments but if you want to give me your email that would be great. Just give it to me and then I'll delete it.
We have had a few rabbits over the years and have always kept them outside. I think as long as they are dry and out of drafts they can stand cold. I usually put some hay or straw in there and make sure they aren't on cold wire all the time. We will have very few days here that are under 30 but if we do he will still be out in the feed shed with some hay to lay on. Most livestock if kept dry can stand the cold.

Holly, I think he is the cutest bunny. That is why when I saw him for $5 I had to buy him. And anyway I had a cage already so why not fill it?

Clare, I bet they would love him, but you may not know this but schools are getting very strict about pets in schools. You have to fill out a ton of paperwork and have it approved by the powers that be. Also you have to tell why it is educationally beneficial to have the pet visit. Takes all the fun out of it. Our school seems to be very strict about it. We have a school nurse that doesn't really like animals and puts up a big fuss. I used to bring animals all the time...not so much anymore. I do still have a goldfish on my desk though.

I know nothing of bunnies but one day when I was a kid my mom brought one home. We called him Bun Bun. He lived in a cage in the house - when we would leave - he would growl at us. Then we built him a condo outside, wood with a house and fencing. We noticed he made tunnels. One day a kid showed up with him - is this your bunny? Oh no - we gave him to a friend that had lots of bunnies and we learned that he was a she. the end!

Loved the photos - wish I had some of the great escape of our big male cow with horns!
