Llama Training 3-4

Sadly no training just feeding in the dark. It is dark in the morning when I feed and dark shortly after I get off work.
After being scared to go inside, Willow is using her stall to eat out of her hay rack and grain out of her tub. She does like grain. Now if I could only get her to eat out of my hand.

This is all so interesting. I haven't commented about your new animal friend but I must say that you are doing a great job with this Llama. She is lucky to have come to your farm and she will realize it soon.
You are being so patient and kind to her. She will come round. Don't let the dog too close to her yet. They are both doing what they are suppose to do... guard.
Wish I had a Llama. They are beautiful animals.
Keep up the good work...

It seems to me that you are making great strides with Willow, & she is adapting to her new home quickly.

All good things come to those who wait. Like me. Waiting for Peanuts. Eventually they come.

Don't worry. Feeding will make all the difference. I don't have llamas but the most stubborn and skittish of animals eventually learns I am the bringer of good things and starts to trust. Good luck with her!

How nice that she went from one awesome home to another. A lot of animals are not so lucky.

It'll be interesting to see how long it takes for her to eat out of your hand...

your doing just right. I have purchased a few goats that were "friendly". They weren't but they could look at you all bug eyed and run like the wind! One of them took a year to calm down and I took my sweet patient time. Now....can't get them out of my path or out of my pocket. They were older girls and they were NOT around people at all in their previous life. I gotta laugh now since they mow everyone else over to get to me. one day at a time...every living thing just takes one day at a time!
